Danijel Subotic has left South Korea's K-League to move to the Ukrainian League. The 29 year old forward has left Ulsan Hyundai to sign for Shakhter Karagandy on a free transfer.

Also in the Ukrainian league is Tanat Nuserbayev, who has moved on loan from Ordabasy Shymkent to Tobol Kostanay.

Houston Dynamo have paid £90,000 to sign defender Jared Watts from Colorado Rapids.

Free agent forward Oleksandr Gladky has signed for Chornomorets Odessa.

 

Saudi Forward Set For Three Weeks With Man Utd

Saudi Arabia striker Mohammad Al-Sahlawi is set for a three week training programme with Manchester United to prepare the 31 year old for the World Cup. Man Utd agreed a deal earlier in the season to supply expertise and advice to the Saudi FA.

 

Conti Backs Alisson As World's Best

Former AS Roma and Italy keeper Paolo Conti has said current Roma number one, Alisson Becker, is the best keeper in the world. Conti said: "Alisson is certainly the best goalkeeper in the world right now. It's almost impossible to set a market value for him, seeing the crazy figures that are flying around at the moment. I said Alisson was excellent a long while back and now he is simply priceless. He has great intelligence and anticipates the moves of the opposition team. He doesn't need to make spectacular saves, because his positioning is so good."

 

Mulumbu Suing Former Advisors

Kilmarnock's former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has released a statement claiming Paris-based firm Sport Management Conseil abused his trust and that he is taking legal action against them. Mulumbu's statement read: "I worked with the SMC agency between 2009 and 2017, and wanted to put my trust in people who were supposedly competent. But it turned out to be a bad decision. The central characters who represented me simply deceived me - and robbed me of millions of euros. So I am taking legal action against this company. After robbing me, these people withheld my bonus payment from Norwich because I didn't want to work with them anymore."

 

Lazio Scammed By Email

Serie A club Lazio's final payment to Feyenoord for defender Stefan de Vrij was this year, but the club were conned by a fake email into paying the 2million euros into the wrong account reported Italian newspaper Il Tempo. The email looked exactly like any other from the Eredivisie side, but had a different IBAN number to route the money. Police are now looking into the issue after Feyenoord contacted Lazio to ask for the final payment. The money has so far been traced to a Netherlands bank account.

 

FIFA To Investigate Russian Racial Abuse

FIFA have confirmed it is looking into allegations of racist abuse aimed at French players by Russian fans during a friendly between the two nations on Wednesday. Reuters claim one of their photographers clearly heard monkey chants directed at several France players, including Chelsea star N'Golo Kante. A FIFA statement read: "FIFA is collecting the different match reports and potential evidence in regards to the discriminatory incident reported in the media, including the one from the Fare observer who was present at the game." Russian football has long suffered with racist behaviour in its domestic game.

 

Barca Full Back Out For 3 Weeks

Barcelona will have to do without French full back Lucas Digne for the next few weeks after he suffered a thigh injury on international duty. "Lucas Digne has returned from international duty with the French squad with a thigh injury. According to tests carried out on Wednesday he will be out for around 3 weeks," Barca said via their social media channels. They should not be too troubled by the issue as Digne is the back up to first choice left back Jordi Alba.

 

Ronaldo Moves To The Top Of The Scoring Charts

After a slow start to the season Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo is back on top of the goalscoring charts for 2017/18. When goals for club and country are added together, the Real Madrid forward sits clear atop the scorers table.

Capello Leaves Chinese Side

Fabio Capello, the former England manager, has left Jiangsu Suning of the Chinese Super League after a nine month spell that was about as inspiring as his time in the England role. Though it is believed it was not results or performances which led to him leaving, but a dispute with club management. A statement from Suning read: "After friendly consultations between both sides, from today Mr. Fabio Capello's contract with Suning FC has been terminated ahead of time. Mr. Capello will no longer be the chief coach of Suning FC."

 

Bizarre Claims Surround Tevez

It has been claimed that Carlos Tevez has suffered an injury while playing football with prison inmates while on a visit to his half-brother, who is serving 16 years in a maximum security jail for armed robbery. Tevez returned to hometown club Boca Juniors in January and was reportedly caught during the incident with both he and his brother dressed in police uniforms and equipped with guns.
