Contracts

Spanish youngster Jose Alonso Lara has signed a new deal with Sevilla. The 19 year old, currently playing with their B side Sevilla Atletico, is now locked in until 2023.

Ipswich Town have handed left back Myles Kenlock a new contract. The deal runs until 2020 with an option for a further year.

Rabiot's Mother Hits Out At PSG And Neymar

Veronique Rabiot, mother and formerly agent of Adrien Rabiot, has compared PSG's treatment of Rabiot with being held prisoner. Veronique Rabiot told L'Equipe in an interview: "Adrien trains, but I don't want to say where, with whom and how. PSG want to look after Adrien's private life, even though they don't want him at all. The club want him to sit in pajamas in front of the TV at nine, watch the match, and go to bed at eleven. Don't these people know the rhythm of the players' lives? When a player plays, it's his job and he has a training rhythm. That doesn't happen with Adrien anymore. But Adrien won't start making pottery now until something happens. He is blamed for running out, but at the same time, the club no longer wants him to play. This is contradictory. It's not possible to lock him up. Adrien is a prisoner. He is even a hostage to PSG. Soon there will be dry bread, water and dungeons. The environment is cruel ... A footballer is there to play, not to leave him in the closet. Adrien hasn't played since December, probably until June. For a professional, six months is an enormous amount of time. You take him hostage because he doesn't want to renew while just respecting his contract. That's all Adrien wants: To honor his contract." She then took aim at sporting director Antero Henrique: "When he came (in the summer of 2017) He has already said he wants to commit a 'number 6.' He never did. And then he says other things. When Henrique told Adrien last Thursday that he didn't respect the squad ... I have a different point of view. Because he did not do what he said, and did not make the necessary signings." She then turned her sights on Neymar and the comparative treatments of the pair, as Adrien had been penalised for missing a January training camp in Qatar, which Veronique stated was down to losing his grandma just days earlier and his father was also close to death. She said: "There are players who miss six minutes because of a nap and others who are injured but celebrate on the other side of the globe at The Rio Carnival."

Vinicius Confirms He Could Have Chosen Barca

Real Madrid's teenage 'saviour' Vinicius Jr., the one bright spot in a dreadful season for Madrid, has admitted that his dad had lied when he denied La Liga rivals Barcelona were interested in him before signing for Madrid. Vinicius told Cadena SER: "The first phone call I received from a European Club came at the age of sixteen, although my Father said the things the press wrote were lies. First Barça and then Madrid. I visited them and they told me about their projects. Barça wanted to pay more, but we didn't pick for how much they would pay, we did for the project. All the young players who came here played. Marcelo at 18, Marco Asensio ... Everyone was playing. Marcelo and Casemiro spoke to me and helped me choose Madrid. I've picked the best. I wouldn't have worn the Barça shirt. I wasn't in La Masía, just my parents looked at it. I was always just thinking about what would be best for me." The bit that sticks out for me was Barca wanting to pay more. Is that not what got them in trouble with tax authorities over the Neymar Jr signing? Maybe it is a junior thing?

Morris Looking To Sell Derby

With Derby County reportedly losing £2m a month, it is little surprise that owner Mel Morris has repeated his interest in attracting new investment or selling the club altogether. Morris had dropped major hints back in August about selling the club, despite appointing Frank Lampard as manager. With the club falling away from the automatic promotion battle recently added to the losses, he has said he will scale back his current investment. It would be interesting to see how Lampard would cope without money to throw around on past-it mates like Ashley Cole.

Bolton Have 2 Weeks To Settle Debts

Bolton Wanderers have taken a step closer to administration after the High Court gave them two weeks to settle their debts. The club was taken to court by HMRC over an a £1.2m unpaid tax bill. The hearing was adjourned because owner Ken Anderson claims he has a buyer set to finalise a takeover (something he has been saying for about a year now!) who will pay off the debts. The claimed new buyer is said to already own a major stake in another football club. This was the 6th time in 16 months that the Trotters have been taken to court by HMRC over unpaid tax. With just 2 weeks to sort things out, Wanderers face being the first EFL club to enter admin since Aldershot Town way back in May 2013.

Idrissi Given Go Ahead To Change International Allegiance

Former Netherlands youth international Oussma Idrissi has been given permission by FIFA to transfer his international allegiance to Morocco. He has been included in Morocco's squad for their AFCON qualifier against Malawi.

Abducted Coach Released

The coach of Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda, Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso, has been released by his kidnappers. Bosso was taken while driving to take the team's training on 19th March. Yong Sports spokesperson Wanchia Cynthia said: "Coach Bosso was freed last night and is now with his family. There wasn't any ransom paid and we don't know why he was kidnapped. We believe pressure from the fans and the media played a huge role in our coach getting released."
