Congerton Follows The Brodge

Lee Congerton has left Celtic to follow Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City. Congerton has been named as the new head of senior recruitment at the Foxes, a role they did not seem to need to be filled. In particular did not seem to need to fill it with a man who has shown little signs of being any good at recruitment, judging by his time at Celtic and, particularly, Sunderland. Leicester's recruitment has been their main strength in recent years, picking up players that other clubs have overlooked.

Allegri Dismisses Leaving Rumours

Massimiliano Allegri has said he is amused by the rumours that he is leaving Juventus in the summer. Allegri said: "I enjoy reading and hearing everything. It's amusing. This morning, I thought about what they might have done to me if I hadn't won any trophy in these years. But I have fun, it's part of the game and brings some bit of movement as we finished the championship a month ago. Next week I will meet with the president. We will be speaking in general terms, as we do every year. Before Ajax I told him I would stay. With the president I have an excellent relationship of mutual respect and honesty. I've had my ideas for six months on how to proceed. Now I'll share those ideas with the president and, together, we'll see if they work."

Leboeuf Hits Out At Suarez

Frank Leboeuf has hit out at Luis Suarez's antics claiming he was glad Barcelona lost to Liverpool in the Champions League because of Suarez. Leboeuf told RMC Sport: "I am a fan of Barcelona , but I was glad to see them eliminated on Tuesday because of Luis Suarez. I have no respect for a footballer like him. He's a cheat and I hate the way he plays. If I had faced him, I would have done everything I could to get him off the pitch. What he did to Ghana at the World Cup, the two times he bit opponents. He's a bad example for young people."
