Contracts

SCO Angers have given Croatian centre-back Mateo Pavlovic a new 2 and a half year contract.

Experienced German full-back Bastian Oczipka has extended his FC Schalke 04 deal to 2023.

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has extended his contract to 2022.

Sporting Kansas City's goalkeeper Tim Melia has signed a 3 year deal.

 


Transfers

Alaves' Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has joined Chinese Super League team Jiangsu Suning.

Chicago Fire have signed Robert Beric from Saint-Etienne. Also leaving Saint-Etienne is Alpha Sissoko who has joined Le Puy Foot on loan.

Las Palmas have loaned Argentine striker Sergio Araujo to Al-Wahda of the UAE Gulf League.

Millwall full-back Jason McCarthy has signed for Wycombe Wanderers on loan.

Claudio Beauvue has joined Deportivo La Coruna on a free transfer from Celta Vigo.

Former Aston Villa midfielder Birkir Bjarnason has moved to Brescia on a free transfer from Al Arabi.

Paderborn have signed Samuel Fridjonsson from Valerenga.

Hannover 96 have paid £360,000 for Dominik Kaiser from Brondby.

Rangers winger Eros Grezda has joined NK Osijek.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has signed for Brazilian side Goias EC on a free transfer from Genoa.

FC Cincinnati have released Fanendo Adi.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Connor Ronan has joined Blackpool on loan.

Leyton Orient have signed Ousseynou Cisse on loan from Gillingham.

Hibernian have taken Genoa midfielder Stephane Omeonga on loan. Also leaving Genoa on loan is Raul Asencio, who has joined Cosenza.

Nicke Kabamba has signed for Kimarnock for an undisclosed fee from Hartlepool United.

 


Injury Round-Up

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been ruled out for 2 months with a back stress fracture.

 


Driussi Rejects Becks

Zenit St Petersburg's Argentine forward Sebastian Driussi has revealed that he rejected an offer from Major League Soccer side Inter Miami CF, the MLS team part-owned by David Beckham. Driussi said: "There really was interest from Inter Miami. But now I am fully focused on Zenit and playing for my team."

 


Wall Investigate Homophobic Chants

Millwall have confirmed that match officials reported an incident of homophobic abuse during their 2-0 win over Reading. The referee, Keith Stroud, stopped the match in the first half and spoke to both managers about the chanting, which was reported by one of the assistant referees. The club made an announcement over the PA system at half-time and said in a statement that "a comprehensive investigation is under way. The club has a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination of any kind. Any individual found guilty of such abuse at The Den is issued with an immediate lifetime ban."

 


Casablanca Appoint Desabre

The reigning champions in Morocco, Wydad Casablanca, have turned to French coach Sebastien Desabre to replace Zoran Manojlovic, who left earlier this month. It will be Desabre's second spell in charge at Wydad, having previously been their head coach in 2016-17 for 16 matches. Desabre has also been in charge of the Ugandan national team and Egyptian side Pyramids FC.
