St Johnstone winger Matty Kennedy has joined Aberdeen early. Kennedy had agreed a pre-contract to join the Dons in the summer but the two clubs agreed an early move for the 25 year old.

Jermaine Defoe has signed a pre-contract to join Rangers on a free transfer in the summer from Bournemouth. Defoe has been on loan with Rangers since January 2019.

Esbjerg have taken Polish midfielder Rafal Kurzawa on loan from SC Amiens.

Celta Vigo have sent David Costas on loan to Almeria.

Montreal Impact have signed Zachary Brault-Guillard from Olympique Lyonnais.

Injury Round-Up

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has returned to fitness after the feared hamstring injury turned out to be much less serious than the Foxes feared.


Livvie Approach Forrest

Livingston manager Gary Holt has confirmed that his club have approached Ayr United to try and sign winger Alan Forrest. Holt said: "It is well-documented we've spoken to Ayr to get permission to talk to Alan Forrest. If we can get that concluded, that would be great as a pre-contract."


Williams Claims Racial Abuse At Espanyol As Violence Mars Barca Match

Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams has said that he was racially abused during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Espanyol. The 25 year old said: "No black player or any player ever wants to hear that. It's completely out of order, people should go to matches to enjoy themselves, to support their team; football is a team sport and should be played in a friendly atmosphere. It's a sad day because of these incidents which have no place in football. It is very sad that today we continue to experience racism scenes in football. We have to end it among everyone. Thanks for your support." Meanwhile outside Valencia's stadium their win over Barcelona was overshadowed by violent clashes between the two sets of fans outside the Mestalla Stadium. Chairs and flares were thrown between the supporters. La Liga president Javier Tebas said: "Today we have taken a step back in the work which we began years ago. The violence in Barcelona and Valencia and the racist insults towards Inaki Williams do a lot of damage to Spanish football. La Liga assumes responsibility and together with clubs we will try to find out what has gone wrong."


Eriksen In Milan For Medical

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has flown to Milan ready to sign with Inter Milan. The Danish international has been wanting a move away from Spurs for a while and now he is set for a medical ahead of a move.
