Lampard Unhappy With Kepa Spotlight

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is unhappy with the attention that his goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga receives, terming it "unfair". The world's most expensive goalkeeper has made a series of errors and has been dropped once more by Lampard, but Lampard is unhappy that the media are focusing on Arrizabalaga. Lampard said: "I certainly won't go to the point of saying Kepa has played his last game for Chelsea. We have to also understand Kepa is a young man. A lot of the spotlight on him has become unfair. I have to protect him because I know he's a good lad trying to do his best."

Khan Apologises To Fulham Fan

The vice-chairman of Fulham, Tony Khan, has apologised to the club's fans on social media after yet another abject performance under Scott Parker on their return to the Premier League. Khan said: "We've looked to add centre-backs since Wembley. I'm sorry we haven't yet as two got Covid, we lost a free we thought was close and had another issue with a fourth centre-back. I should and will apologise repeatedly for that performance. I'm sorry everybody. We all need to do a better job. Everyone at the club for the past year worked really hard to get the team up and now we need to work significantly harder to stay up. I promise better efforts than today."
