Contracts

The 39-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a contract extension with AC Milan to keep him there through next season.

Transfers

Middlesbrough's strike duo Ashley Fletcher and Britt Assombalonga are to leave the club on a free and been told they will not play again for the club by manager Neil Warnock. Both forwards are out of contract in the summer.

Celtic's Polish striker Patryk Klimala has joined NY Red Bulls after they paid a fee of nearly £4m.

Injury Round-Up

Managerial Changes

Disciplinary Charges

Rangers' CV 5 have had their appeals dismissed. The quintet of Rangers players, Bongani Zungu, Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey, Dapo Mebude and Brian Kinnear were banned for 6 matches each plus a further 2 suspended until the end of the season, after a party they attended, in breach of pandemic regulations, was broken up by police. The bans have now been upheld.

ESL Round Up

A group of over 15 Manchester United fans gained access to the club's Carrington training base to protest against the Glazer ownership of the Red Devils in the wake of the aborted attempt to join a European Super League. Manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, first team coach Michael Carrick, technical director Darren Fletcher and midfielder Nemanja Matic spoke to the group.

Real Madrid and ESL president Florentino Perez has claimed that the ESL is merely on hold for a future launch date, despite nine of the twelve teams withdrawing. Perez has also claimed that the nine have not yet left as the ESL holds binding contracts with them: "You cannot get out of the contract like this - they are binding contracts. We're going to continue working. The project is on standby." Perez went on to reveal that the ESL plan had been something they had been working on for around three years, in direct contradiction to their original claim it was hatched to protect football during the pandemic. Save football my arse!
