Managerial Changes

Dean Smith has been confirmed as Norwich City's new head coach. The 50 year old takes over from Daniel Farke, who was sacked after finally picking up his first win of the season. Smith is set to be the first man to take charge of successive Premier League matches against the same opponent with different teams as he was sacked by Aston Villa following a defeat to Southampton, who his Norwich side will be facing next.

Jermain Defoe, Brian Gilmour, David McCallum and Colin Stewart are looking after Rangers' first team until a new manager is appointed.

Sunderland shareholder and board member Juan Sartori has been appointed vice-president of AS Monaco and will also serve on their board of directors too. His father-in-law, Dmitry Rybolovlev, is the president of AS Monaco.

Disciplinary Charges

West Ham United have been found guilty of crowd disturbances and throwing of objects by their fans during the Europa League game against Genk in Belgium. UEFA have fined them 4,500euro for the throwing of objects and 30,000euro plus a one match ban for away supporters for West Ham's next UEFA competition game.

The president of Kenya's football federation (FKF), Nick Mwendwa, has been released on bail while further investigations are carried out. While on bail Mwendwa is banned from accessing the FKF offices, talking to staff from the federation, attending football matches and conducting media interviews.
