Some Things I'd Like To Say About This Football Season

As this football season winds down, I would just like to say some things:

1. Liverpool FC have been outstanding. Worthy English Premier League winners imo regardless of what anyone else says. And for our supposed 'challengers', if the weak was as weak as they say and yet they still can't win it in the year Manchester City is off, then how inept are they?

2. Manchester City ends the season empty handed. Truly deserved for this 115 club. Pep Guardiola to move on soon? (The handball from Crystal Palace's Dean Henderson was way too obvious, but VAR did give City a free penalty, which they missed. In short, VAR screwed up for both sides, one team took advantage and the other didn't).

3. Arsenal - used to love their football under Arsene Wenger and had no ill feelings towards them at all. But Mikel Arteta, their current team and their fans have made Arsenal FC truly unlikeable to the core - 'Calculator FC', 'Next season FC', 'Bottlers FC', 'Best team that did not win any trophy FC', 'Didn't lose to Liverpool at Anfield for 3 seasons FC', and whatever meme coming their way is truly deserved, imo.

4. I've no love for Tottenham Hotspur nor Manchester United (for the former, we had some matches with too many controversies in recent years; the latter explains itself), but if I have to choose, I'd rather Spurs win the Europa League as I perceive they won't do much with the boost in morale or money and I do hope United have no way back to the Champions League or gain access to any money that may lift them out of this mire. Ruben Amorim was right, they are in a relegation battle and I expect that to persist next year and that's their rightful level now.

5. Dickson Hill Stadium! not sure how Everton supporters feel about that? Has the people's club lost its soul? Or it's more of a case of maximising commercial value?

6. And how is Real Madrid repeatedly snapping up high profile signings on a free? I'm inclined to believe they're maybe involved in some form of 'tapping up'?
