Watford v West Ham United 4pm kick off

Gomes (head injury) slight doubt
Pereyra (hamstring injury) slight doubt
Success (knee injury expected return 9th December) out
Chalobah (knee injury) out
Kaboul (hamstring injury expected return 25th November) major doubt
Prodl (hamstring injury) late fitness test
Cathcart (knee injury) out
Hoban (ACL injury) out
Deeney (suspended) out

The Hornets form has slipped of late, 3 losses in a row has led to them slipping down the table, losing their early top 4 place. Marco Silva's star was rising high, but it will lose its shine unless he can turn this around. Despite all the plaudits Silva has received, at the end of the day he did take Hull City down, so there are still reasons to wonder about his ability. The players are there to be doing better, as he showed initially. The aim is European football, that is the owner's expectation, if Silva fails in his aim it is likely he will become yet another leaving through the revolving door the Pozzo's have for managers.
Most important player: Andre Gray. The forward has only scored 1 goal far this season as he tries to recover from an ACL injury and fit into a new side and style of play. That is a big problem for any team, when the main goalscorer is firing blanks.

Chicharito (hamstring injury expected return 3rd December) out
Byram (thigh strain expected return 3rd December) out
Fonte (ankle injury expected return 20th January 2018) out
Antonio (rib injury expected return 24th November) major doubt
Collins (ankle injury expected return 24th November) major doubt

The new man, David Moyes, has a good start with the Hammers having failed to win a single away game, this is a chance for him to go into a first game with no pressure as any result will be a step forward for the side. With a leaky defence and a weak attack, this is an ideal situation for Moyes, there really is little he can do that will not take the team forward.
Most important player: Joe Hart. The England keeper has shown signs of his form returning.

Defining Battle: Watford are particularly strong in wide areas, even without Pereyra, West Ham will need to negate that threat if they are to win. Shutting off that power and pace will go a huge way to giving West Ham a genuine shot at winning the game. With Watford's form poor, losing their main avenue of attack will put pressure on their morale, which is likely to be suffering after 3 straight defeats.
