My hopes and wishes for Manchester United for the 2019-20 season.

Performances:
I would like to watch our team competing again.

I want to see some positive aggression when we don't have the ball.

I want to see a desire to make runs off the ball both offensively and defensively.

I want to see players play for their coach their team mates and their fans.

I want to see a desire to score goals and to defend in the same manner.

Team shape and formation is up to ole and his coaches to work out and I'm sure will be fluid enough. i'm not fussed on any particular formation.

Results:
For me its all about competing. I've no issue losing to any team (but one) . As long as i see every player competing to the best of their ability.

We have enough ability to win one of the 3 cups.

In the epl i have to take into consideration that we have finished outside the top 4 four times in the last six years.

So from that low base and following last years farce of a season and with 18 hours left in the window its hard to set the bar too high.

I want to see us within 7 - 9 points off the leaders with 8 games to play.

That means we will have been competing all season.

That should see us back in the cl with another window in front of us.

Squad:
Ddg - I hope to see him back to his best.

Awb - To settle and shine. Looks hugely promising.

Dalot - I think he will play a big part can play lb comfortably cover awb rw on occasion.

Shaw - I hope he continues to improve. He needs to.

Young - I like him seems a good character. But i hope we don't need to start him too often.

All in all for the 1st season we have proper full back options. Big tick.

Tuanzebe - i hope he is 3rd choice.

Smalling - i hope he is 4th choice

Lindelof - i hope he continues to improve. He will be back to his favoured side. With awb.

Maguire - I hope he settles and i see him and awb being new cult heros.

All in all 4 good cb options.

All backed up by jones and rojo and darmian .

Pogba - Imo should have been sold. If he stays he has to show full commitment. I hope he let's his football do the talking.

Fred - i'm really not sure what to think.

Periera - Talented i m still not sure of his best position. I wonder if he even does.

Matic - His experience will be needed at times. Less starts might serve him well.

Mctom - Hugely improved. I hope he starts regularly.

All in all imo the worst midfield options any united manager has had for best part of 30 years really. Largely inexperienced unproven and lacking in creativity invention and technical ability. Ole must find the best blend to get the most out of his golden child.

Attack:
Martial - i see a much improved season ahead.

Rash - I see a much improved season ahead.

Sanchez - a much improved season ahead.

Lingard - I see more of the same a good squad member.

James - His pace can expose the best defender anywhere. I see 30 plus appearances for him.

Greenwood - Please watch how he never stands still in the box. I honestly believe he is the only truly natural striker we have in the squad in 18 months i'm believe he will be our cf. His movement is unbelievable for his age 100% 2 footed pace to burn most defenders great physique. He needs time a lot of luck and remain humble and grounded.

Mata - Good pro nice guy like matic and young his experience and know how will be required.

All backed up by Chong and Gomes.

Decent attacking options, but we are going into the season without a proven goal scoring centre forward.
