Henry Burnett has signed for Crawley Town following his release from Southend United.

Levante have sent Portugese winger Hernani to Saudi Pro League side Al-Wahda on loan.

Orlando City SC of Major League Soccer have taken Ecuadorian winger Alexander Alvarado on loan from SD Aucas from the Ecuadorian league.

Former Everton youngster Callum McManaman has finally found a new club by signing for Australian A-League club Melbourne Victory.

SC Paderborn have signed free agent winger Marco Terrazzino.

Watford have released former Newcastle United right-back Daryl Janmaat.

Ryan Inniss has completed a permanent move to Charlton Athletic from Crystal Palace. Also joining the Addicks is teenage Chelsea left back Ian Maatsen on loan for the season.

Swiss forward Shani Tarashaj's two year loan spell with FC Emmen has been cut short at the start of the second year. Tarashaj never made a single appearance for the Dutch side while on loan and has yet to get a game for Everton's first team either as he has suffered a succession of injuries.

 


Injury Round-Up

Oxford United v Crewe Alexandra has been postponed for a second time as Crewe are unable to fulfil the fixture. The first attempt was called off just 35 minutes before kick-off when Railwaymen defender Omar Beckles tested CV positive.

Rotherham United manager Paul Warne is in self-isolation after a family member tested positive.

Kilmarnock will play their League Cup tie against Dunfermline despite only having 5 senior players available following a virus outbreak within the club. Manager Alex Dyer will pick the rest of the squad from the club's youth sides.

There is a shock as Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey has pulled out of the Welsh squad with injury.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne has withdrawn from the Belgium squad due to injury.

England full-back duo Ben Chilwell and Kieran Trippier have left the England squad.

Cristiano Ronaldo has tested CV Positive and in self-isolation.

England manager Gareth Southgate has denied that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is injured: "That is not the conversations we have been having with Spurs medically, and not conversations we have been having in the camp. He has not had an injury, he was feeling delayed muscles soreness, which can happen to athletes. We don't risk players, my priority is always the welfare of players."

Disciplinary Charges

Ipswich Town striker James Norwood has been charged with drink-driving, accused of driving in Bury St Edmunds on 30th August while over the limit. An Ipswich spokesperson said: "We are aware of James' situation. A charge of drink-driving is clearly a serious matter but the club will not be commenting further until the case has been concluded."

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been fined £600 and given 6 penalty points on his driving license after being found guilty of driving at 104mph on the M1 during lockdown in England.

 


Del Boy Claims Ronaldinho Was Better Than Messi

Gerard Deulofeu, the Watford forward on loan at Udinese currently, has claimed that Ronaldinho was the greatest player of all time, making him better than Lionel Messi. Deulofeu had two spells at Barcelona and says Messi is "an incredible person" but the Brazilian was better. Deulofeu told Marca: "For me Ronaldinho is the best player ever. I met him. I went to watch a game at the Camp Nou and he was sitting next to me. It was a wonderful experience."
