Desperate Scousewives Series Parts 1 and 2

Part 1:

Basically, my friend's family are Venezuelan (living in Liverpool), and his sister apparently runs in the same circles as both Gera Ponce (Luis Diaz' wife) and Lorena Manas (Darwin's partner). Apparently the talk is that both women are eager to move to Spain.

Also, Lorena (Darwin's partner) was actually previously married to Aleix Vidal (the former Barcelona player) and they have a kid together. And get this - their divorce was apparently because Vidal wanted to move to Qatar for the money, but Lorena didn't want to go. The move ended up falling through, but she was so upset that he tried to force her to go that she divorced him. Could definitely explain Darwin having extra reluctance to take the Saudi bag eh?

Part 2:

Met up with my friend last night and was chatting with his sister for a bit, and delighted to share I have some updates on the Desperate Scouse Wives front, so basically she reiterated the stuff I said about Gera and Lorena in my last post, about them being keen on moving to Spain. The impression she gets is that Gera (Diaz' wife) is almost expecting to leave, but her and Luis are fairly happy here and wouldn't mind staying another couple of years.

Lorena (Nunez's partner) however, is not so keen on the possibility of staying. Apparently she's not fond of the climate, but moreso, is fed up of the stick Darwin gets from certain fans, and just wants out of the city and away from the club.

She (my mate's sister) then showed me a couple of screenshots from group chats with other girls. Admittedly it was all in Spanish (and unlike Trent, I don't speak a lick) but she translated for me.

There were a couple of messages about Ailen Cova (Macca's girlfriend) being disappointed that the other girls are looking at leaving, and one message mentioned Ailen had been speaking to someone called "Agus" about how great Liverpool is basically.

We didn't initially know who Agus was, but we did some googling, and you'll never guess what certain Argentine striker in Milan has a partner by that name. Yep! Lautaro Martinez (linked to us by so many of our ITKs on here) is married to a girl called Agustina Gandolfo, who seems to go by Agus! So looks like Macca's girl could be putting in a good word for us with the Martinez household!

Also another tidbit that I found very funny, was that one of the girls in one of these chats referred to Macca himself as "El Reclutador" which means "The Recruiter"! Fits well with rumours we've heard of Macca getting in Lautaro and Julian Alvarez' ears trying to convince them to come!
