Football News: Liverpool FC Potential Summer Player Transfers

Liverpool FC Potential Summer Player Transfers

Seems like plenty of business still to be done at Liverpool FC and a busy summer of player transfers beckons.

Potential outgoings:

1. Konate - it may not be the worst thing if he does a Bosman in a year's time if there isn't good quality to replace him and if he chooses not to be sold this window.

2. Gomez - would like it if he stays for cover, but if younger and less injury prone options are available, then it'll be a sensible choice, shame on the injuries though.

3. Robbo - he could be a great leader and mentor if he stays around, but as his decline is evident, and if he desires more first team football, moving on will be best for all.

4. Tsimikas - whilst he's happy to stay around as cover, if he can be moved on, perhaps it could give our academy players the chance, if Robbo also moves.

5. Rhys Williams - think his contract is running out in a few days?

6. Calvin Ramsay - don't see a future for him at the club.

7. Elliot - he loves the club and will be a great back up 10, RW, but he wants to be a 'first teamer' and fetches good value. Seems like he would move on if the right offer comes.

8. Morton - seems to be edging to an exit.

9. Chiesa - hasn't worked out, don't mind him staying or going, but the latter may be because we can free up space for someone younger.

10. Ben Doak - seems to have good interest and may fetch a good value. Don't mind him staying and being cover if Chiesa leaves.

11. Diaz - would prefer him to stay as he provides quality and covers CF, but if things develop and he moves, i think we can find a replacement.

12. Nunez - gone for sure, but don't know where to.

13. Jota - if Diaz also moves and Dann's isn't ready, may be good to stay as cover, but given his injury record, is he really a good cover?

Potential incomings:

a) Depending on how Konate's situation is managed, 1 senior and 1-2 Younger CBs? On Guehi, he is front footed and aggressive, has a good passing range on him, but seems to not be positionally and tactically as sound and can be reckless and reactive, not sure how it may be if he is the Konate replacement. The younger CBs linked look decent but are unproven.

b) Depending on our wingers situation, may have 1 addition? I did prefer Fofana than Anthony Gordon if both are indeed fans, though the latter has Premier League (PL) experience but may lack a bit of star quality. Fofana seems the more exciting talent but isn't PL proven.

c) Our hunt for a top class CF continues. Personally, I prefer Alvarez though that has gone quiet, would definitely be delighted with Isak, wouldn't mind Martinez too. Only question I have is who to cover if Nunez, Jota, Diaz all move on and Danns isn't quite ready to return.

I'm just glad I'm not the one making decisions as the club has people to look into all these with HG status, PSR, short term and long term considerations, dynamics, all to be factored in. Hoping we get more right than wrong and we'll win a treble next year!
